I'm currently doing my voluntary scientific year in order to get some practical work done after school and gain experience before continuing with a lot of theoretical learning at university.

Music has always been a big part of my life. I'm playing the cello since I was five years old and enjoy playing in different orchestras and bands. Later in life I started teaching myself how to play the guitar, ukulele and bass. Nevertheless, my fascination for science and my dream to study medicine always kept me from studying music after school. That's why I'm very happy to be able to combine music, medicine and research and to learn many new things at the institute :)
